So, I am really sorry that I have been WAY behind on my blogging. I know I promised that I would keep everyone up to speed with my blogs and I got side tracked with all the work that has been thrown my way - not that that’s a bad thing! It’s been a summer of dream, love, hope, inspiration, fights, arguments, disagreements, success, failure, pain, pleasure.. the list goes on… and on…. annnnd on. But hey, that’s just life - shit happens! And it always will.
I have learned more now then ever before that there are people in this world who just hate to see other people become successful at what they do. It almost pains them to share a compliment or appreciation for someone who has come a long way at something they love. Its like they hate to be proven wrong, because they shot you down when you shared you dreams with them. Now all of a sudden they have realized that your dreams are becoming reality, they try and act as though they were standing there right by your side and holding your hand all the way through. In this case, I have to say, some people should just stop, evlauate, and think about words before they speak them and think about the troubles that they have the potential to cause just becasue they are jealous over someone elses success.
Recently, as the entire world probably knows by now, I was on the Howard Stern show. Very awesome experience for me, a milestone in my career as a model/actress and it was kept very classy and professional - just as I like to portray myself in the entertainment industry. I didn’t just get here by default. I got here because I had the drive to do it. And without the support of my friends and family, I would really probably not have any career as anything at all.
So with this in mind, I have to address an issue that has been long running since the beginning of my modeling career. There are a few grown men out there who think its a fantastic idea to tell my parents, grandparents, friends of my parents etc that “Ohhhhhhh your daughter, Melissa was on Howard Stern!!” - ARE YOU SERIOUS??
WELL GUESS WHAT!!!
If you think for one second your going to try and believe that by telling my parents that I was on a radio show is going to get my ass in some “deep trouble” then you are sadly mistaken. You see, I have the FULL support of BOTH of my parents and my entire family, and they are proud of my achievements and my accomplishments that I have made in this world. I have been to more countries then half of the people my age and I have seen the world and experienced it all because I love what I do as a model and I try and do the best that I can at it. I am a model, I am an actress, and I don’t film porn. I get paid off of what I look like, simple as that. Anyone who can find a way to capitalize on their looks and lifestyle is a very smart business person because the youth window is only open for so long!
So to those of you who think you can bring me down, fuck the world because im shooting for the stars, and that’s just how its going to be. They support me and that is all I need. Love is forever and its unconditional. So no matter what I do in my career or where my life may take me, I will ALWAYS have the support of my true friends and my family!!!!
And to the kid that TOLD my biological father that I was on a “raunchy radio show” you can go fly a kite back to where you came from becasue you are a douche.
K - im done…. for now lol
Bye =)
